WHY CHOOSE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Eyelash extensions are amazing. We don’t know of any other beauty treatment that provides so many fabulous benefits. They lift. They define. They enhance. They beautify. But most importantly, they SIMPLIFY. Imagine a world without mascara. A world where you can get out of bed, run a brush through your hair and be out the door, ready to tackle the day. Imagine looking younger and more well rested without injections or fourteen hours of sleep.
ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS SAFE?
Yes and no. If you go the right technician who has been properly trained and is meticulous about their work, you can wear lashes indefinitely. Unfortunately, they are many who are "out to make a quick buck" and have no patience for the detail this type of work takes. I'm proud to say that I have had clients for over 6 years without any problems and have more lashes than ever.
HOW LONG WILL MY EXTENSIONS LAST?
The natural growth cycle of an eyelash is 3-4 months. It is normal to lose 2-5 lashes per eye a day. As your natural lashes shed, so will your extensions. Please be mindful of your extensions (no pulling, excessive eye rubbing, etc.). That being said, eyelash extensions can last indefinitely with careful maintenance and touch-up appointments every 2-4 weeks.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Please do not wear any eye makeup. If you arrive to your appointment with eye makeup on, we will be happy to remove it, however, it will take time away from your lash application. Please avoid caffeine prior to your appointment, as it can make eyes fluttery and much more difficult to work with. Be prepared to relax (a.k.a. beauty nap). If you wear contact lenses, you may want to remove them prior to your service.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The first application is considered a full set and is typically 2 hours long. Laying down on a massage table with pillows to make it as comfortable as possible and eyes are to remain closed. Feel free to take a nap (snoring is okay) or ask questions (as long as facial movements are kept to a minimum). Fills are typically 1 hour with clients returning within 3 weeks. Fills will take more time the longer you wait. After 6 weeks, a new full set is required.
